Chillin’ with a Ukrainian Girl
This past weekend was not very exciting. I have been recovering my my illness, and I think I had a bout with the flu. The flu made my previous back injuries hurt much more than usual though. I am not ready to exercise yet or do the stairs, but at least I can walk around easily and will go to work today at 530.
My school has been closed since the first of the year for a remodel. The school is now almost 4 years old, and needed a new carpet as well as some repairs. I believe a new classroom was added to. I am anxious to see what it looks like.
Saturday, the young girl I had had dinner with earlier in the week came over to watch a movie at my place. That was cool. We watched Stupid, Crazy, Love with Steve Carrell. I had seen it before, but it was still cool to see how she reacted to the story. I think that girl and I will just remain friends. I am not sure that there is too much chemistry. Something could change in the future, but we shall see.
Yesterday, the girl who helped me with the doctor came over to hang out. We watched a couple of movies, went to the pharmacy again, ate some dinner, talked and just cuddled. She said that this word "cuddle” does not exactly exist in the Russian language. She said that they use the word "hug” in this situation. I explained that "hugging” was just one aspect of cuddling. Also, lying in each others arms, chatting, holding each other, hugging, and even possibly kissing would all be included in the English explanation of cuddling. I enjoy cuddling sometimes.
